Wonder Studios Ident

A visual journey through art history… 

Wonder Studios approached us to create a distinctive 10-second ident to serve as their signature mark. They wanted something instantly recognisable, a brand emblem that embodies their passion for filmmaking and emerging technology while reflecting their identity as a studio that bridges timeless storytelling with cutting-edge innovation. 

We responded by reimagining their wordmark through a series of iconic artistic movements: from humanity’s earliest cave paintings and the Renaissance, to the bold abstractions of Modernism, the vibrancy of street art, and finally, into the digital future. The piece is structured as a hypercut where each frame functions as both a moment in time and a complete artistic statement. 

Each section of the short was considered and crafted with vastly different artistic techniques. Some shots were created using actual paint, charcoal, and other physical media, while others pushed into cutting-edge digital territories, using AI tools to enhance and support our artistic vision. This interplay of old and new mirrors Wonder’s own approach to filmmaking.

As the logo transforms throughout the ident, it becomes a storytelling vessel, tracing the ever-evolving forms of artistic expression while holding fast to Wonder’s core purpose: to move and inspire audiences.
