Overview
For this project, we had to ask ourselves one question… What would happen if the world of Wendy’s collided with iconic music producer DJ Khaled at the Daytona 500? Well, here's your answer!
Developing a vibrant, bold and fun series of looping animated films, we filled the screens of the Wendy’s x DJ Khaled drive-thru immersive experience, which took place as a pop-up attraction at this year’s Daytona 500, the first race of the NASCAR Cup series. Attendees could hop on a golf cart and speed through a tunnel of psychedelic visuals, immersing themselves while munching on a BIGGIE BAG burger.
Honing in on some of DJ Khaled’s favourite pastimes–golf and hip-hop–we created nine mind-bending animations… DJ Khaled riding a giant golden key in a zero gravity field of Wendy’s burgers.. A trippy mini golf course with liquid rainbows and flamingos… Underground trophy rooms to the glory of square patties and exuberant hip-hop producers… Pools of golden burgers and golden golf balls… Psychedelic Wendy’s infused kaleidoscopes… and much more!
