Nothing screams indie quite like an iconic band tee. So, to launch BBC Radio 6 Music’s new 24/7 stream on BBC Sounds, Indie Forever, we set four decades of music history in motion.

Combining a live-action shoot with motion graphics, we designed and animated 12 bespoke band logos, comped onto plain white tees in post. Channeling four decades of indie culture - from 80s icons and Britpop to NY Indie and Indie Sleaze - we brought legends like The Killers, Oasis, Arctic Monkeys, Florence + The Machine, and The 1975 to life for a whole new generation of listeners.
