    Compositor - LDN Full Time

    GOLDEN WOLF is looking for a sh*t hot Compositor to join the team at our London studio!
    Working across commercial and broadcast projects, the ideal artist will love all things motion, have a strong eye for the finest details and work with great finesse.

    As a compositor, you will be critical to the continued success of Golden Wolf's creative output. Working closely with our directors, producers, and animators as part of our compositing team, you will support our ongoing client projects and internal creative work whilst being integral to adding the cherry on top of our cakes. If you love kissing the pixels and tweaking keys, we would love to hear from you. 

    Hours: 9AM-6PM LDN / Monday - Friday  Location: Hybrid Remote/In Person for Golden Wolf LDN

    RESPONSIBILITIES
    • Responsible for ensuring the compositing process is functioning smoothly while meeting deadlines. Additional responsibilities will vary on a project basis but may include video editing and some design.

    • Respond to in-house & client feedback in a professional & timely manner.

    • Work across multiple projects in collaboration with the international team. Support and enhance the final outcome. 

    • Work with animators, designers and directors in NY and LDN, as well as with freelancers both onsite & remote.

    • Communicate regularly with various departments, including but not limited to Systems, Producers, and Artists.

    • Accurately estimate turnaround times and work to tight deadlines

    • Maintain industry standards of technical specifications. You are always up to date on the latest technological trends and tools within the industry that could enhance current Golden Wolf's production capabilities

    • Maintain an organised working approach within the Golden Wolf workflow. 

    QUALIFICATIONS
    • Previous experience in compositing in a commercial production environment

    • You have a proven track record of consistently delivering high-quality compositing in a diverse range of styles

    • 2 + years of experience within an animation studio or VFX pipeline technology environment compositing a wide range of styles and techniques

    • In-depth understanding and hands-on experience in Adobe After Effects. (An After Effects Connoisseur)

    • You possess a genuine passion and interest in compositing and the animation industry

    • Vital project planning and problem-solving skills

    • You have a collaborative attitude, encouraging communication within the animation team

    • Working experience with tracking software and schedules
       

    BONUS ROUND 
    • Knowledge of 3D multi-pass compositing techniques ACES colour workflow 

    • Nuke + Flame experience is always welcome. 

    • Experience with Python scripting, Blink or other tool-building software

    Summer Internships - LDN & NYC Full Time

    GOLDEN WOLF is looking for talented Producers, Designers, Motion Graphics Artists, 2d Animators and Compositors to fill open positions in our London and NYC studios mid may through out the summer.

    Working across commercial and broadcast projects, the ideal Jr will love all things motion, have a strong eye for the finest details and work with great finesse.

    NYC Internships are paid $15/Hour based on a 40 Hour Workweek

    OVERVIEW

    The purpose of the Golden Wolf  internship is to give the applicant a practice-based introduction to the areas within the art and advertising industry in a professional context. Thus, the internship is a period of learning, and the Studio commits to giving the Artist an opportunity to acquire an agreed learning outcome within their given specialist field. 

    The internship offers a first-hand real-world experience of a working design and animation studio.

    Golden wolf’s internship program is aimed at but not solely for young graduating artists.

    The program can accept any artist that is looking to expand their skill sets within commercial art for advertising. 

    The Intern is considered an apprentice, supported by the senior members of the full-time team to develop a range of specialist skills that are agreed to between both parties before the internship commences the additional  emphasis  on supporting key soft skills such as timekeeping and communication.

    The program runs for a minimum of a 3 months period from an agreed starting date. 

     

    INTERNSHIP OUTCOME 
    • A greater understanding of the animation and design process within a working production company.

    • A stronger ability and deeper understanding of the key principles of animation and design.

    • A greater understanding of the animation and design process within a working production company.

    • A better understanding of time management and skills that are required to meet deadlines.

    • Listening and communication skills, comprehending direction, understanding constructive feedback, implementing it and actioning.

    • An ability to coherently work within a team.

    Designer - LDN Full time

    We are looking for mid-level designers to join the team at our London studio. The ideal candidates will have experience in commercial and broadcast design for animation, with a focus on characters and narrative development.

    As a Designer at Golden Wolf you will be critical to the continued success of Golden Wolf's creative output.
    Working closely with our Creative Directors and Art Directors as part of our design team, you will support our ongoing client projects and internal creative work with with a dynamic and engaging levels of visual communication.

    Hours: 9AM-6PM LDN  Monday - Friday  Location: Hybrid Remote/In Person for Golden Wolf LDN

    • Concept and design 2D projects in partnership with creative leads. This includes initial development, storyboarding, character + environment design.

    • Work across multiple projects and pitches.

    • Respond to in-house & client feedback in a professional & timely manner.

    • Maintain industry standards of technical specifications. 

    • Accurately estimate turnaround times and work to tight deadlines.

    • Maintain organized working approach within the Golden Wolf workflow. 

    • Work with animators & designers in NY and LDN, as well as with freelancers both onsite & remote.​

     

    QUALIFICATIONS
    • Skilled in illustration. Proven experience with character design, backgrounds and style frames.

    • Strong portfolio showing execution from design to animation. 

    • 2+ years experience in the industry.

    • Experience working on commercial and broadcast projects, tight timelines and specific technical requirements.

    • Be a collaborative and dynamic team-player who is able to work with many different types of personalities.

    • Must hold the right to work in the UK.

     

    BONUS ROUND
    • Graphic Design Skills. but not essential.

    • Knowledge of Animate / TVPaint / After Effects a plus.
